Jet Letter 4.8 is “almost identical” to Jet Letter 6.0 with certain limitations such as:

- Speed -- 1/10th the speed of Jet Letter 6.0,
- Tables – Does not have the ability for table lookups,
- Number of variables – somewhat more limited,
- Bar codes – not as complete as Jet Letter 6.0,
- Limited finishing functions,
- Shorter maximum script length and fewer fonts.
